Loft Insulation - Up to 25% of the heat produced in a home is lost through the roof if the loft is not insulated. Loft insulation is a very effective way to reduce fuel bills since it acts as a blanket trapping heat rising from the living space below, and can save on average £110 off a typical households annual fuel bill.
Thermafleece
We are particularly proud to promote and install Thermafleece natural insulation. Thermafleece is a highly thermally efficient insulation and is the only British wool insulation to be BBA certified - (02/3950). Meaning that it totally complies with Building Regulations, in between joists in ventilated and unventilated lofts; under pitched roofs and between rafters for tiled or slated pitched roofs, as well as timber frame wall applications between studding with a weather resistant cladding, and a ventilated and drained cavity.

Thermafleece is made using the wools from sheep that graze the upland areas of the UK, breeds such as Swaledale, Herdwick, Scotch Blackface and Welsh Mountain to create an exceptionally efficient thermal and acoustic building insulation. Thermafleece gained Energy Savings Recommended Approval from the Energy Saving Trust in 2007. Recommended products have to adhere to strict criteria, which are independently tested, to ensure that people can be confident that the product they are buying meets the very highest standards in energy efficiency.
Other Insulation products include the lagging of pipework and water tanks.
